The AS&CC is a private, community-based, non-profit organization centrally located in Jefferson County based in Boulder, MT. who believe in promoting humane treatment of animals through shelter, education and spay/neuter endeavors in Jefferson County.
While striving to raise awareness the need for an animal shelter in Jefferson County the AS&CC have successfully run a low cost spay and neuter Program since 2007 by providing two annual low cost shot clinic’s and two annual low cost spay & neuter clinics for Jefferson county pet owners.
With the increasing amount of stray and lost animals in our County the AS&CC started a Foster Care Program in 2018. By working with local and county law enforcement we help care for the animals through our foster homes keeping them safe until they are reunited with the owners, or a new loving home is found.
While we have made some great strides with our spay/neuter and Foster Care programs, the Animal Shelter and Care Committee still have a lot to accomplish. Our ultimate goal is to build and facilitate a county wide Non-profit animal shelter.
